HX-Express3 is Microsoft Excel-based software for semi-automated analysis of hydrogen exchange mass spectrometry data.  Any data in (x,y) format can be analyzed or spectral data can be directly imported from Waters Masslynx software.  Output is deuterium uptake curves and peak-width plots.

VERSION HISTORY:

HX-Express3
This version is an update to previous versions and was written by Miklos Guttman at the University of Washington. The new features are centered around binomial fitting and handling of bimodal HDX-MS data.

HX-Express2
This version is an upgrade to the original freely available code, and was written by Miklos Guttman at the University of Washington.  It is described in the following publication:

Guttman M., Weis, D.D., Engen, J.R. & Lee, K. K. (2013).  Analysis of overlapped and noisy Hydrogen/Deuterium exchange data.  J. Amer. Soc. Mass Spectrom. 24(12), 1906-1912.
DOI: 10.1007/s13361-013-0727-5.

HX-Express (version 1)
This is the original version, and was described in the publication:

Weis, D.D., Kass, I.J. & Engen, J.R. (2006).  Semi-automated analysis of hydrogen exchange mass spectra using HX-Express.  J. Amer. Soc. Mass Spectrom. 17(12), 1700-1703.  DOI:10.1016/j.jasms.2006.07.025.
